TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: September 2026
By placing an order with Anna Triant Couture, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing. If you have questions about a design, sizing, timing, or any other aspect of an order, please contact us before placing your order.
1. Handmade Nature of Our Gowns
Anna Triant Couture gowns are individually made rather than mass-produced. Because of the handmade nature of our work, no two gowns will ever be completely identical.
Product photographs represent the overall design, color palette, materials, and aesthetic of the gown. The exact placement of lace, appliqués, embroidery, vines, flowers, beads, crystals, and other embellishments may vary from the photographs and from gown to gown.
These variations are intentional and are part of the individual character of a handmade garment. They may also be necessary to accommodate different garment sizes and proportions. A design created in a size 2/3, for example, cannot necessarily accommodate embellishment placement identical to the same design in a size 12/14.
Minor variations in color, texture, placement, construction details, or materials that do not substantially change the overall design are not considered defects.
2. Custom Orders
At this time, custom orders are personally created by Anna. Because each custom gown is commissioned specifically for an individual client, all custom orders are final and non-refundable.
Full payment is required when the order is placed. Once an order has been accepted, materials may be purchased specifically for that gown and production planning begins.
For this reason, cancellations, color changes, or design changes cannot be accepted after an order is placed.
Measurements may be requested at the time of ordering or closer to the time production begins. If Anna Triant Couture requests measurements at a later date, clients are responsible for providing them promptly and accurately.
3. Preorders & Repeated Designs
Preorders and repeated Anna Triant Couture designs may be produced with the assistance of carefully selected U.S.-based professional seamstresses working from Anna Triant Couture designs, patterns, specifications, and construction requirements.
Anna remains responsible for the creative direction, design standards, and quality expectations of Anna Triant Couture.
Unless an individual product listing specifically states otherwise, all preorder sales are final and non-refundable.
Full payment is required at the time the preorder is placed.
4. Sizing & Measurements
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate size and for the accuracy of any measurements provided to Anna Triant Couture.
Our size chart is intended as a sizing guide. Fit may vary depending on the construction and silhouette of an individual design.
Anna Triant Couture is not responsible for fit issues resulting from:
- incorrectly taken or submitted measurements;
- ordering an incorrect size;
- changes in the wearer's measurements after measurements have been submitted; or
- choosing a size contrary to sizing guidance provided by Anna Triant Couture.
If you are uncertain about sizing or how to take measurements, please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to help you determine the most appropriate option before your purchase is finalized.
Anna Triant Couture does not provide alterations.
5. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Because our gowns are handmade, made-to-order, produced in limited quantities, or created specifically for an individual customer, all sales are final unless otherwise expressly stated in the individual product listing.
We do not accept returns or exchanges because of incorrect sizing, incorrectly submitted measurements, change of mind, color preference, event cancellation, or other circumstances unrelated to a verified construction defect.
If you believe your gown has arrived with a construction defect, you must contact Anna Triant Couture within five (5) calendar days of delivery and provide clear photographs and information describing the issue.
A construction defect does not include damage caused after delivery, normal wear, improper handling or storage, alterations or repairs performed by another person, accidental damage, intentional damage, or variations inherent to handmade garments and embellishment placement.
Anna Triant Couture reserves the right to evaluate the reported issue and determine an appropriate remedy when a genuine construction defect is confirmed.
6. Production Times & Completion Estimates
All production times, completion dates, and shipping dates provided by Anna Triant Couture are good-faith estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Handmade production can occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including material availability, supplier delays, illness, family emergencies, shipping interruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We make every reasonable effort to complete orders within the estimated timeframe and will communicate significant delays when appropriate.
If your gown is required for a specific event, photography session, travel date, wedding, or other time-sensitive occasion, you must discuss the required date with Anna Triant Couture before placing your order.
Placing an order without first confirming a required event date does not guarantee delivery in time for that event.
7. Current Custom-Order Lead Times
Anna Triant Couture custom work is currently booked approximately six months in advance.
Availability and lead times may change throughout the year. An estimated production window will be discussed when appropriate, but all completion dates remain estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
8. Shipping
Anna Triant Couture ships both within the United States and internationally.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, transit is handled by that carrier. Anna Triant Couture is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged while in transit.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the package before opening it and retain all packaging materials so that a carrier claim can be pursued where applicable.
9. International Orders
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, import charges, and other fees imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charge unless expressly stated otherwise.
Refusing a shipment, failing to pay applicable import charges, or failing to collect a shipment does not make the order eligible for cancellation or refund.
10. Design Variations & Material Availability
Because many Anna Triant Couture designs use specialty, vintage-inspired, imported, limited-production, or seasonally available materials, exact materials may occasionally become unavailable.
When necessary, Anna Triant Couture may substitute a material or embellishment with one of comparable quality, appearance, and overall aesthetic while preserving the character of the original design.
If a necessary substitution would materially alter the overall appearance of the gown, we will contact the customer before proceeding.
11. Design Ownership & Exclusivity
All original Anna Triant Couture designs, concepts, patterns, photographs, artwork, and other creative materials remain the intellectual property of Anna Triant Couture to the extent protected by applicable law.
Purchasing or commissioning a gown purchases the physical garment. It does not automatically purchase exclusivity or ownership of the underlying design.
Anna Triant Couture may recreate, adapt, photograph, display, publish, market, or offer the same or a similar design to other clients.
Clients wishing to commission a design with exclusive-use terms must discuss this with Anna Triant Couture before placing an order. Exclusivity must be specifically agreed upon in writing and is subject to an additional exclusivity fee determined according to the design and scope of exclusivity requested.
Unless such an agreement exists in writing, no exclusivity should be assumed.
12. Photography & Creative Portfolio
Anna Triant Couture reserves the right to photograph garments created by the studio and to use photographs of its own work for portfolio, website, social media, educational, archival, editorial, and promotional purposes.
Any use of client-supplied photographs depicting identifiable individuals will be subject to applicable permissions and agreements.
13. Handmade Garment Care
Anna Triant Couture gowns often contain delicate fabrics, hand-applied embellishments, lace, tulle, organza, crystals, beads, flowers, or other couture details and should be handled accordingly.
Customers are responsible for appropriate wear, handling, cleaning, transportation, and storage after delivery.
Damage occurring after delivery as a result of wear, cleaning, storage, alterations, accidents, or improper handling is not considered a construction defect.
14. Communication
Please ensure that the email address and contact information submitted with your order are accurate and monitored.
Customers are responsible for responding within a reasonable timeframe when Anna Triant Couture requests information necessary to complete an order, including measurements, sizing information, approvals, or shipping details.
Delays in receiving required information from the customer may result in corresponding delays to production or delivery estimates.
15. Acceptance of These Terms
By completing a purchase through Anna Triant Couture, you confirm that you have reviewed the applicable product description, sizing information, estimated production timeframe, and these Terms & Conditions and agree to the policies applicable to your order.
If anything about your order is unclear, please contact us before purchasing. We would much rather answer a question beforehand than have you order something that is not right for your needs.
